Round table «STEAM-education: from theory to practice»
On March 24, a round table «STEAM-education: from theory to practice» was held.
The organizers of the event were the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of Gifted Children of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the State Scientific Institution «Institute for Modernization of Educational Content», the National Center «Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine», the UNESCO Department of Science Education of the Mykhailo Dragomanov Ukrainian State University.
The purpose of the event is to identify the theoretical foundations of the formation of STEAM-education, discuss current issues of the STEAM educational space, educational STEAM-practices and technologies.
One of the speakers of the plenary session was an associate professor of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations Olena Nazarova, who represented the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and delivered a report on the topic: «Implementation of STEAM education as a guarantee of the effectiveness of Ukrainian startups».
The abstracts of the reports will be published free of charge in the collection of publications of the round table «STEAM education: from theory to practice» and made public on the website of the Institute of Gifted Children of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
