Round table of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
On July 21, a round table was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which was dedicated to the role of science and higher education in the reconstruction of the country. It was organized by the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The meeting was attended by Eurodoc President Sebastian Dale, Eurodoc Peel Vice President Mariia Saugman, and Ihor Taranov, Director General of the Directorate of Science and Innovations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Despite the air alarms, young scientists, representatives of 18 regions of the country, successfully delivered reports. They spoke about the problems, current activities, and prospects for the participation of young scientists of Ukraine in the process of rebuilding our state.
Zaporizhzhia region was represented by Anastasiia Zerkal, professor of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. She made a poster presentation on the topic: «Representation of scientific activity in the Zaporizhzhia region during a full-scale war.»
During the discussion, young scientists and representatives of Eurodoc discussed further areas of cooperation in various areas of the organizations’ activities, including the training of doctors of philosophy, working conditions and well-being, mental health, open science, science and society, evaluation of scientific activity and career development.
