Competition for the implementation of projects within the framework of Ukrainian-Polish youth exchanges
The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine announces the acceptance of applications for participation in the competition for the implementation of projects within the framework of Ukrainian-Polish youth exchanges in 2022.

Submission of applications for participation in the competition of projects will last until February 28, 2022 of the year.
Ukrainian-Polish youth exchanges are carried out in accordance with:
– the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the Ukrainian-Polish Youth Exchange Council, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 09.12.2015 No. 1017;
– the procedure for implementing Ukrainian-Polish youth exchanges and holding events in accordance with the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the Ukrainian-Polish Youth Exchange Council, approved by the order of the Ministry of Youth and Sports dated 04.07.2016 No. 2643, registered with the Ministry of Justice on July 11, 2016 under No. 937/29067 (as amended).
The purpose of youth exchanges: support cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish youth in order to build friendly relations between the peoples of these countries.
Youth exchanges are carried out through the participation of young people in projects that are implemented:
– by civil society institutions;
– by educational institutions;
– by municipal institutions
and are determined according to the results of a competition held by the Ukrainian-Polish Youth Exchange Council through the national managing institution – the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
In 2022, 7 million UAH is allocated from the State Budget of Ukraine for the implementation of projects within the framework of Ukrainian-Polish youth exchanges.
To participate in youth exchanges, organizations must:
– have the status of «non-profit»;
– work with youth (determined by the constituent documents);
– must have a partner from the Polish side.
The Ukrainian-Polish Youth Exchange Council makes decisions every year on:
– priority tasks;
– deadlines for submitting applications and implementing projects;
– announcement of the competition;
– determination of the winners of the competition and distribution of funds in accordance with the established priority tasks, competition conditions and recommendations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Conditions for organizing and conducting competitions:
– civil society institutions;
– educational institutions;
– municipal institutions working with youth
submit to the Ministry of Youth and Sports by 4:00 p.m. February 28, 2022 in electronic form kultmolodi@ukr.net and paper form:
– application (original and copy);
– detailed cost estimate;
– copies of constituent documents;
– statement of the partner organization.
Conditions for project implementation:
One project can last at least 5 and no more than 10 days, not including the days of arrival and departure of participants in the preparatory stage and the preparatory visit of the project implementation.
Participation in projects is possible for persons aged 14 to 35 and persons working with youth.
The number of project participants must be 10 – 40 persons, including accompanying persons or group leaders.
A preparatory visit can last 2-3 working days, with a maximum of 6 participants.
The decision on the winners of the competition will be made by the Ukrainian-Polish Youth Exchange Council by May 5, 2022 and posted on the official website of the Ministry of Youth and Sports https://mms.gov.ua
The winning organizations will implement the projects by November 11, 2022.
Priority of the 2022 competition:
– opening the common past and cultural heritage;
– supporting an active civic position and increasing the level of competence of young people for their participation and integration into public life, including by promoting entrepreneurship and volunteering;
– deepening cooperation and exchange of experience between youth workers, youth centers and youth organizations in the field of technical and industry education, taking into account the introduction of digital technologies technologies;
– strengthening youth initiatives from territorial communities of Ukraine and rural areas and small towns of the Republic of Poland, taking into account the challenges of the modern world;
– strengthening intercultural dialogue by creating conditions for openness and mutual respect among young people.
Projects submitted to the competition must correspond to one of the specified priorities.
Important!
In the case of direct youth exchanges within the framework of the Ukrainian-Polish youth exchanges, the financing for which is provided from the State Budget of Ukraine, their implementation is possible only if civil society institutions, educational institutions and institutions working with youth, which will become the winners of the competition, comply with the requirements of the national legislation of Ukraine and Poland regarding the establishment of quarantine restrictions for the period of the youth exchange.
