Cambridge Open Access Funding Initiative

If you want to publish your research in open access in Cambridge journals but don’t have access to funding, there’s good news. The University of Cambridge has launched a pilot project aimed at supporting authors from low- and middle-income countries.

Over 100 countries are eligible for fully funded open access publication in all gold and hybrid journals at no direct cost to authors or their institutions. Ukraine is also part of this initiative.

The project is open to authors from 1 July 2023 to 31 December 2024. No application is required. Authors are automatically eligible for open access publication once their paper is accepted.
