The history of one KVC team «Zaporizhzhia Vector — Machine — ZNTU»

It is no secret that our university has a fairly high level of amateur activities such as KVC – a favorite student game of all times and peoples. Regularly held intra-university league games, where the honor of each institute is defended by a separate team. At the international level, the university is represented by the national team «Zaporizhzhia Vector — Machine — ZNTU».

The team was formed in April 2012. Since most of the participants studied and are studying at Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, they decided to make it a national team. They gave it the name «Mashynka — ZNTU». In a short but very eventful period of time, the young people have reached unprecedented heights – they successfully entered the Higher Ukrainian League, which not everyone succeeds in. This cost a lot of effort for the usual KVN team from Zaporizhzhia.

Mashinka – ZNTU debuted in the Dnipro League with the following lineup: Vyacheslav Yushkov (captain), Pavlo Lukashov, Serhiy Litvinenko, Maksym Velichko, Hlib Zaitsev, Darya Bilotserkovets, Eduard Rybalevsky, Ihor Lysenko, Artem Selivanov, Dmytro Sukhatsky. During the summer break, the team did not sit idly by, but took part in the Ukrainian Leagues Cup, where they immediately reached the semifinals of the First Ukrainian League.

In January of this year, the team went to the international festival of KVN teams, which is held annually in the city of Sochi. Thanks to the triumphant performance, the Zaporizhzhia team got into the Higher Ukrainian League. The public organization «Zaporizhzhia Vector» played a significant role in the existence of the team. With its support, the team took part in the games of the Higher Ukrainian League of the KVK, where it debuted under a new name – «Zaporizhzhia Vector – Machine – ZNTU». Here it was noted for its high level of training, creativity and quality of humor.

In «Vyshka» they competed with such famous teams as: «VIP», «Belye Rosy», «Leningrad», «Smak», «Detective Agency »Lunnyy Svet«».

In addition to participating in the official KVN leagues, the team has repeatedly won the championship in the regional leagues of Zaporizhzhia and Berdyansk, Mariupol and Kerch, as well as in student events of ZNTU.

During its short history, «Zaporizhzhia Vector – Machine – ZNTU» has won many titles: it became the vice-champion of the Dnipro League (2012), a finalist of the First Ukrainian League and received an increased rating at the «KiViN-2013» festival.

The KVN team «Zaporizhzhia Vector – Machine – ZNTU», which took part in the games of the Higher Ukrainian League, expresses gratitude for the help and support of the Public Organization «Zaporizhzhia Vector» and the founder of the insurance company «Motor-Garant» Oleksandr Vyacheslavovich Boguslaev, as well as the rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University Professor Serhii Borisovich Belikov, the trade union committee of ZNTU students represented by Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko and the center of culture and leisure of ZNTU students.
