European Union Entry Simulation Game for Schoolchildren
The Polytechnic Vacations Continue! On June 14, the student government held a simulation game «Entry into the European Union» for schoolchildren. Its goal is to raise young people’s awareness of European integration issues.
At the beginning of the event, the head of the Department of International Economic Relations, Emilia Pruszkivska, gave a lecture on European integration to deepen the school’s level of knowledge on this topic.
During the game, the teams studied the structure and activities of the EU and analyzed the functions of its various bodies. The essence of the game was its dialogic nature and interactivity: students and members of the student government had to not only receive new information, but also imagine themselves as politicians of a certain country that is planning European integration and an accompanying campaign.
The game was organized and held with the assistance of the Zaporizhzhia City Youth Council.
Thank you to the student government for developing entertaining and educational activities for the Holidays with the Polytechnic and for helping with the organization and holding!
