Faculty of information security and electronic communications: work with college students

Cooperation with colleges is one of the important directions of the university’s work. On November 13, students and teachers of the cyclic commission of the specialty 171 «Electronics» of the separate structural unit «Zaporizhsky Electrotechnical Vocational College of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University» visited the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University on November 13.

Dean of the Faculty of Information Security and Electronic Communications Nataliya Furmanova spoke about the specialties for which training is carried out at the faculty. Oleksiy Shevchenko conducted a tour of the «Noosphere» engineering school. In the 3D modeling laboratory, students learned about the project «Symphony of Elements» — modeling of the environment for demonstration in the planetarium.

In addition to the excursion, several interactive activities were planned. Harry Moroz, a senior lecturer at the Department of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications, and Roman Korolkov, an associate professor at the Department of Information Security and Nanoelectronics, held a master class on the topic of controlling drones and means of electronic warfare.

Master’s students of the Department of Information Technologies of Electronic Devices held an interesting lesson «Programming Arduino in TinkerCAD» and «Modeling in the Blender system».
