English Movie Club
On March 5, students of NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» took part in the English Movie Club! This is a kind of infotainment format – a combination of a movie night and a Speaking club – designed to improve English language skills.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the film «Barbie» was chosen for viewing with double subtitles – English and Ukrainian for a better understanding of the plot and deepening language knowledge. Each participant of the event received a checklist with useful vocabulary and phrases from the film, which helped expand their vocabulary.
A special dress code in pink and black shades created a special atmosphere of the evening, which emphasized the theme of the film.
