Rapid HIV testing for students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic and colleges
On April 14, students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic and colleges underwent rapid HIV testing.
All interested parties could join and check their HIV status free of charge and as quickly as possible, as well as receive contraceptives
Over 257,000 people with HIV live in Ukraine, and every third HIV-positive Ukrainian does not know about their status. In case of timely detection and initiation of treatment, the life expectancy of an HIV-infected patient is significantly extended, and the immune system is maintained at a level that protects the patient from the development of opportunistic infections and concomitant diseases.

The express testing was conducted on the initiative and organization of the student trade union committee by representatives of the Charitable organization «100% LIFE.ZAPOROZHJIA»
