Children’s and Youth Scientific University: «Energy Network» game

On February 24, another face-to-face class of the «Carousel of Directions» club of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University took place.

The event was attended by 20 students of grades 6-7 of Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 28, Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 23, Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 6, Zaporizhzhia Collegium «Elint», Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 63, Zaporizhzhia Educational Complex No. 67, Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 1 named after T.G. Shevchenko, Zaporizhzhia specialized school #100, Dniprorudniv specialized school «Talent».

An exciting game «Energy Grid» was organized for schoolchildren, during which they got acquainted with the basics of energy and the principles of energy production from various sources, and also tried themselves in the role of players on the energy market.

Excitement, emotions, vivid impressions plus knowledge of traditional and alternative energy — the result of the «Energy Network» game. The children were divided into 6 teams, which had to make decisions regarding the purchase of power plants and providing them with the necessary resources to generate electricity in competition with rivals.
