Victory Dialogues: Youth Participation in the Restoration of Ukraine
07.20.2022 at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, the Zaporizhzhia City Youth Council held the event «Victory Dialogues: Youth Participation in the Restoration of Ukraine», aimed at strengthening the participation of youth in the formation of civil society in Ukraine and building a constructive dialogue among stakeholders of the city’s youth policy.
V.o. Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Socio-Economic Development and Youth Policy Andriy Ivanchenko welcomed the participants of the event and emphasized that the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is always open to youth initiatives and is a reliable partner of public organizations in the implementation of state youth policy.
The following issues were raised during the event:
– participation of youth in the post-war reconstruction of the country;
– participation of youth councils in the protection and preservation of youth policy and infrastructure;
– strengthening the influence of youth councils as a decision-making tool in the interests of youth.
The initiative to hold the event belongs to the Youth Council of the Slobozhansk Autonomous Okrug and the NGO «Youth Platform» with the assistance of UNDP in Ukraine, the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the financial support of the European Union and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is always ready to support proactive youth, since it is our youth that will influence the future of our country.
