The UN delegation visited dormitory No. 3 of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University
On March 6, 2023, as part of her visit to Zaporizhzhia, the permanent coordinator of the UN system in Ukraine Denise Brown together with the head of the Médecins Sans Frontières/MSF project in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia – Patrik WILAND visited dormitory No. 3 of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
Denise Brown met with internally displaced persons living in a university dormitory.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has appointed Denise Brown from Canada as Permanent Coordinator of the UN system in Ukraine. Ms. Brown has over 25 years of experience in humanitarian and recovery programs, particularly in complex emergencies, with a focus on operations, program development, coordination, and interagency relations.
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international non-governmental organization that provides free humanitarian and medical aid.
The meeting was aimed at determining the problematic issues of internally displaced persons and determining ways of assistance.
