Regular classes of the «Carousel of directions» circle of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University

On December 9, regular classes of the «Carousel of directions» circle of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University took place.

This time the children were offered two topics. The first lesson on the topic: «Heroes of myths and legends of the world in modern films».

Students learned a lot of new information about the heroes of ancient myths and legends and analyzed the mythological origin of the characters of the «Marvel» universe. Legendary Ukrainian historical figures were discussed. We talked about today’s urban legends. They passed an interesting interactive test to consolidate the learned material. With the help of artificial intelligence, the children managed to create their own character from modern Ukrainian myths — Captain Ukraine, who will protect against the Russian invasion.

The second lesson was devoted to the topic: «Great secrets of the small coat of arms of Ukraine» (Part 1).

Students got acquainted with the author’s newest scientific discoveries regarding the origin of the Ukrainian state coat of arms, the ancient history of the sacred trident sign, and the ways it came to Ukrainian lands. We investigated the presence of this unique spiritual and cultural phenomenon in the social and political life of modern Ukraine.

We are grateful for the initiative and creative approach to the teachers of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Yurii Polezhaev, Nataliia Zhukova, Georgy Shapovalov and all the children for their active participation and interest.
