City Orienteering Championship at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University
We invite you to take part in the city orienteering championship. The purpose of the event is to popularize orienteering, improve skills, and identify the strongest athletes. The event is organized by the Separate Unit of the Orienteering Federation of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region with the assistance of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
All willing sports enthusiasts from Zaporizhzhia region and other regions of Ukraine participate in the competitions. Winners and prize-winners are determined in the following age groups: M/F 12, 14, 18, 21E, 21A (not higher than 1 category), 40, 50, 60, 70,80. By decision of the chief judge of the competition, groups may be combined (if less than 3 participants are registered in the group).
Competition program:
9:00-10:30 — meeting of participants, work of the mandate commission
10:40 — opening of the competition
11:00 — start at distances in a given direction
14:30 — awarding of winners, closing of the competition.
Winners and prize-winners in each age group will be awarded with certificates and medals.
Named applications are accepted until February 24, 2023 (until 21:00) on the Zaporizhzhia orienteering website www.orient.zp.ua

In the application, you must indicate your last name and first name, team, category, year of birth, group. The competition will use an electronic tag from the SportTime system.
Organizational fee: 40 UAH – adults, 20 UAH – seniors and children, chip rental – 10 UAH.

Where: the main building of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University
In the event of an air raid, all participants in the competition must go down to the university’s bomb shelter.
