Free access to resources from leading publishers of scientific literature within the Research4Life project
Attention university scientists. With the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine within the Research4Life project, Ukrainian scientists have gained access to electronic resources from leading publishers in the world. Since January 2023, Ukraine has the right to access full-text electronic resources on the Research4Life platform as a Group A country (open access).
Research4Life is a project organized in the format of a public-private partnership by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Labor Organization (ILO), Cornell and Yale Universities, as well as the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers.
The list of available resources has been significantly expanded, more than 15 publishers have additionally opened electronic collections of books and journals for users from Ukraine, in particular, access has been provided to the resources of such large publishers:
- Elsevier;
- Springer Nature;
- John Wiley & Sons;
- Taylor & Francis;
- Emerald;
- Sage Publications;
- Oxford University Press;
- Cambridge University Press;
- IOP Publishing and others.
Research4Life content is grouped into the following collections:
- Hinari is one of the world’s largest collections of biomedical and medical literature.
- AGORA is an outstanding collection of digital libraries in the field of food and agriculture.
- ARDI provides access to scientific and technical information.
- GOALI focuses on law and social sciences, including politics, economics, philosophy, history, etc.
- OARE covers information resources about the environment, including ecology, geography, energy, etc.
