Association of Azov-Black Sea Universities
The leadership of higher education institutions from 5 regions of the southern and southeastern regions of Ukraine, on the territory of which direct hostilities were or are being conducted, supported the initiative of the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta to create an association of Azov-Black Sea Universities.
October 22 can be considered the birthday of the Association. The beginning of its activities was announced during a meeting with the Vice President of the City of Lublin, Ms. Beata Stepaniuk, and the Head of the «Leaders of Change» Foundation, Pawel Prokop.
Our main goal is to develop the potential of higher education in the Azov-Black Sea region, which will allow higher education institutions to reach a new level of international cooperation, through participation in international projects, joint development of modern innovative educational technologies, development of models and mechanisms for their implementation in martial law and during the further development of the country after the victory, support of direct international contacts and establishment of cooperation in the field of education with foreign and international organizations, promotion of the development and popularization of higher education in Ukraine and abroad, continuous self-improvement of employees of higher education institutions, introduction of scientific technologies, support of continuing education of citizens, implementation of the state’s educational policy, as well as satisfaction of professional, scientific, social, cultural and other interests of our members.

The initiator of the association is the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
During the first working meeting, the results of future joint activities were discussed. Now our plans are to implement it as soon as possible.
The meeting in Lublin was made possible thanks to a project by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, the Leaders for Change Foundation (Poland) in cooperation with the Borussia Foundation (Poland).
