“Applicant-2025”: basketball competition

On March 22, in the sports complex of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, as part of the comprehensive sports event “Applicant-2025”, 3×3 basketball competitions were held among men, and for the first time, a competition was held among girls. More than 25 participants from various educational institutions of Zaporizhia took part in the competition.

The competition began with welcoming remarks by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Socio-Economic Development and Youth Policy of the National University “Zaporizhia Polytechnic” Andriy Ivanchenko, the Head of the Zaporizhia Regional Department of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports Yuriy Shepel, and the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management Svitlana Kokareva.

The winners and prize-winners among men were:

1st place — Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 50 (team representative — Kyrylo Viktorov)
2nd place — Municipal Institution of Zaporizhzhia Regional Lyceum “Defender” of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council (team representative — Tetyana Izotova)
3rd place — Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 93 (team representative — Yuriy Moskalenko)

Among the girls, the places were distributed as follows:

1st place — Higher Vocational School of Fashion and Style (team representative — Anna Yeroshenko)
2nd place — Higher Vocational School of Fashion and Style of Zaporizhzhia Humanitarian Vocational College of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” (team representative — Dmytro Solyanyk).

All participants received memorable gifts from the student trade union committee of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”.
