Results of the meeting of the Academic Council of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” on March 25, 2025

On March 25, a meeting of the Academic Council of the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” was held.

The following issues were discussed during the meeting:

• approval of changes to educational and professional training programs at the Zaporizhzhia Humanitarian Vocational College: hotel and restaurant business; law and office administration; tourism; physical education; finance, banking, insurance and stock market; computer engineering; automation and computer-integrated technologies; electronics; telecommunications and radio engineering; cybersecurity and information protection, as well as approval of the concept of “Cybersecurity”
• admission rules to the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University
• nomination of candidates for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine’s personal scholarships for young scientists-doctors of sciences for 2026
• nomination of candidates for the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine’s scholarships for young scientists
• recommendations for the publication of scientific and educational publications
• approval of the regulations on the educational and scientific center Zaporizhzhia Regional Center of Polytechnic Education and the educational center “Education for Business and Career”
• admission rules to the Higher Educational Service of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University: Berdyansk Mechanical Engineering Vocational College, Zaporizhzhia Humanitarian Vocational College, Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical Vocational College, Zaporizhzhia Vocational College of Computer Technologies, Tokmat Mechanical Vocational College
• amendments to the rules for assigning social scholarships
• approval of the composition of the Council of Employers and Entrepreneurs
• formation of one-time SVRs for acceptance for consideration and defense of the dissertation
• support of proposals for the election of candidates as corresponding members and academicians of the NAS of Ukraine
• Regulations on the energy management system
• amendments to the Regulations on the procedure for certification of graduates in the specialty 227 “Physical therapy, occupational therapy” bachelor

Rector Viktor Greshta presented the results of his business trip to the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, where areas of cooperation with Zaporizhia Polytechnic were finalized. Among them are the development of the European Digital Innovation Hub, the introduction of robotic solutions in production and the social sphere, the exchange of experience in the fields of renewable energy, materials science, automation and IT. This partnership opens up opportunities for joint research, modernization of educational programs and improvement of the competitiveness of graduates, and will also contribute to the development of the region through the integration of innovative technologies and the retention of human potential.
