Conversation club with British partners of the Polytechnic
On April 15, students of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University and lyceum students of the city of Zaporizhia took part in the Conversation Club, which was held by our good friends Holly Tann and Adam McQuire, founders of the British non-profit organization Casus Pax CIC, together with Mike Kearney, a British teacher, representative of the National Union of Teachers.
The atmosphere was so warm that all participants actively participated in the interaction, regardless of the level of language training, forgot about the language barrier and got rid of the fear of speaking English. The range of topics was extremely wide: volunteering, Scottish dialects, TV series, and the use of AI in the educational process.
Thank you to Holly Tann, Adam McQuire, and Mike Kearney for their sincere, friendly communication and support for the Ukrainian education system!

“It was such a delightful experience; I enjoyed talking to a native English speaker in such a casual setting. I am looking forward to the next speaking club and wish all the best to the Casus Pax team, as well as Adam, Holly, and Mike!!
