Scientific workshop within the framework of the DFG program “Starting International Cooperation” with the participation of the University of Stuttgart and Lviv Polytechnic National University

On March 27, a scientific workshop was held at the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” within the framework of the DFG program “Starting International Cooperation” with the participation of the University of Stuttgart and the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”.

The Rector Viktor Greshta and Vice-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko delivered welcoming remarks from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic to the participants of the seminar.

The participants of the event got acquainted with the scientific and educational laboratories of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, listened to a number of presentations by scientists, graduate students and representatives of stakeholders of this department. Sincere gratitude to the partners of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University – GREEN SYSTEMS Group, Infocom LTD, Pluton LLC, DEWESoft and the Zaporizhia Cluster of IAM for their active participation in the seminar.

Research and teaching staff of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University as part of the working group, together with representatives of the universities of Stuttgart and Lviv Polytechnic University, continue to prepare a joint research proposal for funding within the framework of the DFG program. In addition, other promising areas of cooperation were discussed with the Director of the Institute for Robust Power Semiconductor Systems (ILH), Professor Ingmar Kallfass.
