“Carousel of Directions” of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”
On April 26, students of the “Carousel of Directions” club of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” plunged into the fascinating world of chemistry!
On this day, the real magic of science was revealed to the students: they got acquainted with the basics of chemistry, studied and observed how chemical reactions occur, and also independently conducted experiments.
Under the guidance of the teachers of the chemistry department — Oleksiy Voskoboynik, Yulia Petrusha and Valentina Povzlo — the participants watched colorful reactions: the formation of gases and foam, the change of colors and the transformation of substances into others!
Schoolchildren feel like real chemists! Chemistry is no longer abstract! Every experiment is a small victory, every reaction is a step towards understanding that science can be incredibly interesting.
