1st All-Ukrainian Forum for Leaders of Student Government Bodies “Students Today and Tomorrow: From Dreams to Action” at the G.S. Skovoroda KhNPU

Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic once again made a loud statement at a large-scale forum of student leaders in Kharkiv!

Day 1: The forum began with passionate speeches by representatives of the Hryhoriy Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University and the leaders of the city of Kharkiv, who emphasized: students are the driving force of change! A special moment was the students’ discussion with the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Mykhailo Vynnytsky. He asked questions about motivation, education, and the future, and we answered confidently, because we know where we are going! After the official part, the students presented their universities: they talked about the opportunities, achievements and prospects of educational institutions.

Day 2: continuation of university presentations, discussion of the future of education and options for solving the challenges facing the field. The head of the student government of Zaporizhia Polytechnic Sofia Stepanenko spoke at the section on the modernization of higher education, and representatives of the Polytechnic actively participated in the panel discussion! Then – another important topic: “Education and patriotism”, because the upbringing of a conscious citizen is extremely important today.

Day 3: powerful training from the Ukrainian Association of Students. We developed advocacy campaigns on the topic “Rights and interests of education seekers” and everyone showed themselves 100%! Next was a section on the effective work of student self-government and a final panel discussion.

Ms. Sofia handed over the branded merchandise of Zaporizhia Polytechnic to the acting chairman of the student parliament of the G.S. Skovoroda KhNPU Daniil Makhmudov, and he, in turn, awarded the participants with certificates!
