Meeting of the University Academic Council

On October 21, a regular meeting of the University’s Academic Council was held at Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.

During the meeting, a number of strategically important issues related to the educational, scientific and organizational activities of the university were considered. Among the key topics: the results of the annual rating evaluation of scientific and pedagogical workers, departments and faculties; results of certification of graduates of bachelor’s and master’s programs in 2024/2025; activities of LLC “Zaporizka Polytechnic Science Park” and the Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth “Children’s and Youth Scientific University”; formation of one-time specialized scientific councils, admission to doctoral studies and recommendations for publication of scientific works; approval of the educational program of professional development.

PhD diplomas were solemnly awarded to Larisa Tumarchenko, Oleksandr Zavhorodnyi and Ihor Doroshenko. Alla Kovalyova received the associate professor’s certificate.

Scholarship recipients were awarded:
– a scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was awarded to Olha Yabchenko (district BTE-0213)
– a scholarship named after M. S. Hrushevsky — Anastasia Steshenko (district GF-313)

For many years of conscientious work, professionalism and dedication to the university, the following were awarded the medal “For impeccable work” III degree:
– Andriy Pyrozhok, head of the department “Electric drive and automation of industrial installations”
– Larisa Koval, head of the scientific library sector
– Tetyana Kuzina, leading economist
– Viktoriya Filonenko, leading accountant
– Alyona Lyashova, leading specialist of the department “Foreign philology and translation”
– Halyna Pashich, cleaner of dormitory #5
– Serhii Hrytsai, senior lecturer of the department “Transportation technologies”
– Serhiy Deev, senior lecturer of the department “Electric drive and automation of industrial installations”

Certificates of the district administration of the Zaporizhzhya City Council in the Oleksandrivskyi district were awarded to:
– Angelina Bilostotska, senior laboratory assistant at the “Cars, heat engines and hybrid power plants” department
– Yana Vikhlyaeva, senior lecturer at the “Social Work” department
