Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic in the Professional Development Program of Academic Managers

The Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic National University team took part in the third module of the Academic Managers Professional Development Program on the topic “Personnel Management”. The educational module was aimed at the formation of key managerial competencies in the field of personnel management.

Zaporizhia Polytechnic was represented by: vice-rector Andriy Ivanchenko, director of the Educational Center “Education for Business and Career” Anastasia Zerkal, director of the Educational and Scientific Center “Zaporizhia Regional Center of Polytechnic Education” Tetyana Solovyova, dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management Svitlana Kokareva and deputy head of the educational department Volodymyr Vasylevsky.

The program of the module covered a variety of topics:
— professional development and evaluation of employees
— formation of an inclusive educational environment and ensuring well-being at the university
— effective models of motivation and increasing staff involvement
— familiarization with the international experience of management in the field of higher education
— development of solutions aimed at improving personnel policy in higher education institutions

The final stage was the discussion of the results and joint implementation of practical tasks.

The program of professional development of academic managers is implemented at the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine within the framework of the project “Improving higher education in Ukraine for the sake of results”, which is implemented with the support of the World Bank and the British Council.
