Zaporizhia Polytechnic University has launched a series of webinars of the "Mental Health Training School" as part of the activities of the "How Are You?" Community of Universities
On September 16, a new psycho-educational project of the Community of Universities “How are you?” was launched. — “Mental Health Training School”.
The event was solemnly opened by the head of the Coordination Center for Mental Health under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Oksana Zbitneva, presenting a series of webinars of the “Training School of Mental Health” within the framework of the “How are you?” University Community. Alyona Sadykina officially launched the project, inspiring the participants to actively participate in the webinars.
? The first webinar of the series — “Building Resilience Skills in Wartime” — was conducted by Alyona Sadikina, a candidate of pedagogical sciences, a teacher at the Zaporizhia Polytechnic and an experienced trainer of the Israel Coalition’s trauma programs, sharing effective techniques for maintaining calm and confidence in the most stressful moments.
During the webinar, teachers of the departments of psychology, social work, public health, sociology and pedagogy, as well as specialists of psychological services, students and participants from various institutions of higher education in Ukraine learned effective tools for regulating stress, reducing anxiety and supporting themselves and their loved ones in crisis conditions.
?”Training school of mental health” is a space for mutual exchange of experience and best practices for supporting psychological stability in universities. The school’s professional coaching staff includes teachers and specialists from the psychological services of participating higher education institutions, as well as leading experts in the field of mental health.
The project is implemented within the framework of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?” — initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska with the expert support of the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
