Zaporizhia Polytechnic University is the regional leader of the All-Ukrainian Programming Olympiad
On October 11, the All-Ukrainian Student Programming Olympiad 2025 started, which is part of the ICPC–2025 World Programming Olympiad.
National University “Zaporizka Polytechnic” was included in the list of basic institutions of higher education, which provide coordination and conduct of Olympic competitions in the I and II stages of this year. Head of the Department of Software Serhiy Subbotin was appointed regional coordinator of the 1st stage of the Olympiad in Crimea (Southern region) and coordinator of the 2nd stage of the Olympiad of the entire Southern region (Zaporizhia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson oblasts and Crimean Autonomous Republic).
680 teams from Ukraine registered to participate in the competition, including 34 teams from the Zaporizhia region, of which 12 teams represent Zaporizhia Polytechnic University and its colleges.
21 student teams participated in the trial tour of the 1st stage in the Zaporizhia region, of which the teams of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic University won the victory:
1st place — “NUZP_AltF4” made up of students of the KNT-114 group of students Valerii Neroznak, Evgenia Kornienka, Oleksia Sycha (coach – senior lecturer of the department of software Larisa Deynega)
2nd place — “NUZP_Junishki” consisting of students of KNT-514 group Yevhen Shiyan, Ivan Hunek, Dmytro Shabli (coach — senior teacher of the department of computer systems and networks Olga Polska)
The main round of the first stage took place on October 12 online. In the main round among student teams of the Zaporizhia region, all the prizes were won by the teams of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University!
1st place — “NUZP_Junishki” (KNT–514: Yevgen Shiyan, Ivan Gunko, Dmytro Shablya; coach — Olga Polska)
2nd place — “NUZP_Random” (Ivan Bushman (BK–612); Oleksiy Maslov, Denys Manko (BC–615m); trainer — assistant professor of the Department of Information Technologies of Electronic Devices Natalya Myronova)
3rd place — “NUZP_ME.WE.PAVLO” (BC–615m: Yehor Ponomarev, Pavlo Reznychenko, Oleg Savchenko; trainer — assistant professor of the Department of Information Technologies of Electronic Devices Natalya Myronova)
