All-Ukrainian Forum "Days of Educational Leadership": youth section

On June 11, the second day of the All-Ukrainian Forum “Educational Leadership Days” took place. This day was dedicated to youth leadership.

Speakers shared the experience of the transition of student activism from purely university activities to higher levels — local, regional, all-Ukrainian.

The speeches were united by the theme “Education of those responsible: youth policy, interaction, leadership”:
the head of the student government of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University Sofia Stepanenko presented the topic “The role of students in the formation of civil society: from volunteering to management” of youth leaders, offered in particular by EDYN
Daniel Mahmudov, acting Head of the Student Parliament of Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H.S. Skovoroda
Yelizaveta Burlaka, head of the PR sector of the Student Parliament of the Kherson National Technical University, inspired with her story about the path of students of the Khnist National Technical University through today’s challenges
head of the Student Council of the NTU “Dnipro Polytechnic” Bohdan Manin revealed the secrets of involving students in the development of student self-government bodies
President of the Student Parliament Valery Levchenko of the national university “Poltava Polytechnic named after Yury Kondratyuk” shared the experience of the Poltava Polytechnic in revealing the potential of students as leaders.

The final block of the forum was the panel discussion “Balance between education, career and activity: challenges and opportunities”. Participants sought answers on how to maintain a balance between studies, career building and activism. We discussed how not to lose yourself in a frantic rhythm, to remain effective and to continue to act!

On the first day of the forum, youth leaders visited the Zaporizhia Polytechnic: they saw modern laboratories, innovative and educational hubs. We are always happy to welcome guests to the Zaporizhia Polytechnic!

The forum was held with the support of the National Agency for Ensuring the Quality of Education, the National Agency of Qualifications, the National Service of Ukraine on Civil Service Issues, the All-Ukrainian Union of Regional Employers’ Organizations of Enterprises of the Metallurgical Complex “Federation of Metallurgists of Ukraine” and the NGO “Progresilni”.
