Happy Independence Day of Ukraine!
The sovereignty and independence of Ukraine is not only a norm defined in the Constitution, but also a symbol of indomitability, engraved in the hearts of each of us. For the fourth time, we celebrate Independence Day to the sounds of war, but with unshakable faith: victory will definitely be ours. This freedom has been paid for by the blood and courage of generations and has become our common front today. Ukraine has endured and will endure, because the strength of our independence lies in unity and love for our native land.
The war touched each of us — it broke into homes, classrooms, and everyday life. During this year, the buildings of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University have been damaged by Russian shelling twice. But despite the pain and loss, the university did not stop. Together with students – strong, free youth – we are paving the way to the state of the future every day, step by step, where freedom, faith and the indomitable spirit of Ukrainians will surely win.
We are sincerely grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to which students and employees of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic, even in a front-line city, can celebrate the Independence Day of our country with pride and sincere joy.
We wish unity, courage and inspiration to everyone to continue the struggle in the chosen place.
