Trainings «First aid skills in emergency situations»
11 та 14 квітня відбулися тренінги «Навички надання першої допомоги в екстрених ситуаціях» (Emergency First Aid Skills), які провели волонтери Адам МакКвайєр та Холлі Танн, сертифіковані військові медики, засновники британської неприбуткової організації «Casus Pax».
Тренінги відвідали науково-педагогічні працівники та студенти НУ «Запорізька політехніка».
Учасники відпрацювали навички першої домедичної допомоги: практикували накладання турнікетів, бандажів та використання гемостатика.
Експерти надали рекомендації щодо мінімального набору для надання першої домедичної допомоги: щонайменше один якісний турнікет, гемостатик, бандаж, рукавички та ножиці.
Дякуємо Адаму МакКвайєру і Холлі Танн за чудову роботу! Такі знання рятують життя!

It was very hands-on, highly relevant, and practical, especially the part where we learned how to use a tourniquet in emergencies.
