Training within the project “Students – Quality Ambassadors”
On June 19, representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University participated in training within the framework of the project «Students – ambassadors of quality», which is held for students of 5 regions: Kharkiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia.
The solemn opening of the event took place with the participation of Andriy Ivanchenko, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, socio-economic development and youth policy of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of student partnership in the formation of a high-quality educational environment and the development of the university community.
Representatives of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education also addressed the participants with welcoming words: Oksana Trebenko, head of the analytical and training support department, Maksym Folomeev, head of the public relations and international cooperation department, as well as Karina Nikolayenko, representative of the Ukrainian Student League, course moderator and methodologist.
The program of the event combined discussion and practical work formats. The participants analyzed the role of students in ensuring the quality of education, discussed the possibilities of influencing educational processes, worked on improving educational programs and took part in the Socratic seminar «Can a university be of high quality without the participation of students?».
A separate block was devoted to the development of student initiatives and mechanisms for their implementation in higher education institutions. During group work, the participants worked out practical solutions for strengthening the student voice in matters of ensuring the quality of education.
The training ended with an open question-and-answer session with the participation of NAZYAVO experts, during which the current challenges and prospects for the development of student self-government were discussed.
The Student Self-Government of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University was presented with a thank you from the Ukrainian Student League for its assistance in the implementation of the project «Students – Ambassadors of Quality». Congratulations to our young people with distinction!
Training participants also received certificates of successful completion of training. We are convinced that the acquired knowledge and practical experience will contribute to the implementation of new initiatives and the further development of the educational environment of our university.
