Training within the project “Students – Quality Ambassadors”

On June 19, representatives of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University joined the training within the framework of the project “Students – Ambassadors of Quality”, which is held for students from 5 regions: Kharkiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Kyiv and Zaporizhia.

The grand opening of the event was held with the participation of Andriy Ivanchenko, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Socio-Economic Development and Youth Policy of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of student partnership in the formation of a quality educational environment and the development of the university community.

Representatives of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education also addressed the participants with welcoming words: Oksana Trebenko, Head of the Department of Analytical and Training Support, Maksym Folomeev, Head of the Department of Public Relations and International Cooperation, as well as Karina Nikolayenko, representative of the Ukrainian Student League, moderator and methodologist of the course.

The event program combined discussion and practical work formats. Participants analyzed the role of students in ensuring the quality of education, discussed the possibilities of influencing educational processes, worked on improving educational programs, and participated in the Socratic seminar “Can a university be of high quality without the participation of students?”.

A separate block was devoted to the development of student initiatives and mechanisms for their implementation in higher education institutions. During group work, participants developed practical solutions to strengthen the student voice in issues of ensuring the quality of education.

The training ended with an open question and answer session with the participation of experts from the National Agency for Higher Education, during which they discussed current challenges and prospects for the development of student self-government.

The Student Self-Government of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University was awarded a certificate of gratitude from the Ukrainian Student League for its assistance in the implementation of the project “Students – Ambassadors of Quality”. We congratulate our youth on their honor!

The participants of the training also received certificates of successful completion of their studies. We are convinced that the acquired knowledge and practical experience will contribute to the implementation of new initiatives and the further development of the educational environment of our university.

The project is implemented by the Ukrainian Student League, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education with the support of the Genesis IT ecosystem.
