Training "Gender as mainstream. Gender and Inclusion"
? On May 15, students and teachers of the Faculty of Social Sciences took part in the training “Gender as mainstream. Gender and Inclusion”, which was held on the basis of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. The trainer was public figure Olena Poda.
During the training, the participants:
? worked out the basic issues of gender theory
? did you get acquainted with the legislative principles of the functioning of gender in Ukraine
? have outlined ways of implementing gender strategies
? discussed the activation of anti-gender attitudes in the countries of the world
Various games and exercises were conducted that improve the understanding of the concept of gender. Through interactive exercises, dialogues and reflections, students not only gained new knowledge, but were also motivated to form a society free from gender stereotypes. Step by step, we are moving towards the creation of a fair and equal society!
The event took place within the framework of the “Together We Can” project of the Program for Expanding Opportunities for Public Leaders in Ukraine, which is implemented by the NGO “Social Interaction” and the Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University in cooperation with the “Human Rights Foundation” public organization. The implementation of the project is possible thanks to the support of the Institute of Foreign Cultural Relations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
