Students of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University won the International Materials Science Competition 

The international student professional creative competition “Materials Science”, which was held on the basis of the Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University, has ended. The competition was implemented under the patronage of the I. M. Frantsevich Institute of Materials Science Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, together with the International Academy of Applied Sciences in Lomzh.

142 student projects from Ukrainian and foreign institutions of higher education were submitted to the II stage of the competition. 65 students were selected for the final round, among whom the winners were determined.

The prize places of the competition were taken by students of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic:
3rd place — Vitaly Loferdyuk (BAD-212) and Larisa Samarska (BAD-213); scientific director — head of the department of composite materials, chemistry and technologies Oleksandr Mityaev
3rd place — student of the group Tetyana Golumbovska (IF-213sp); the scientific director is Anna Jus, assistant professor of the Department of Physical Materials Science

The vice-rector of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University Valery Naumyk was included in the jury of the International Competition.
