Students of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University attended a shopper painting master class
On June 5, a master class on shopper painting “Package! Go to the bag!”, which is dedicated to World Environment Day. The festival of creativity and environmental awareness for students was organized by the scientific library together with the trade union committee of students, graduate students and student self-government.
The moderator of the event was Karina Boyko, a senior teacher of fine arts at the Zaporizhzhia Children’s Art School No. 1 and a member of the Zaporizhzhia association of artists “Kolorit”.
During the master class, the participants talked about the global environmental catastrophe — pollution of the planet with plastic. Participants watched the video “Plastic – a brilliant invention or a global problem?”, which served as an important reminder of how dangerous a common plastic bag from the supermarket can be.
Ms. Karina prepared drawing templates and helped the participants learn new painting techniques. Students showed creativity and imagination: they created unique designs of shoppers, which will be a great alternative to plastic bags.
A master class on painting eco-bags is an important step towards conscious consumption for the benefit of the future.
Thank you to everyone who joined the master class!
