A student of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic is among the winners of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers on physical therapy

? On May 15, the final conference of the first All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers on physical therapy was held. The organizers were the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management — the Department of Physical Therapy and Agrotherapy. At the first stage, the submitted works were reviewed, and the second involved the holding of a final scientific and practical conference.

15 scientific works of students from different cities of Ukraine were sent to the competition: Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Uzhhorod and Chernivtsi. 7 authors of the best works made it to the second stage of the competition.

? The competition work of Ilya Bidenko, who represented Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic, took third place. The topic of the work is “Development and analysis of the rehabilitation program for persons with acubar trauma.” The scientific supervisor of the winner was the head of the department of physical therapy and occupational therapy of the National University “Zaporizhia Polytechnic” Olha Kovalova.

The works of the participants cover the following topics:
?physical therapy of persons with injuries received as a result of military aggression
? correction of pathologies of the musculoskeletal system
? use of rehabilitation tools in work with anxiety disorders and eating disorders
? implementation of innovative technologies in recovery programs

The competition commission included representatives of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University. It was headed by the rector of the university, Viktor Hreshta, among the members of the commission was Oleksandra Kovaleva, associate professor of the department of physical therapy and occupational therapy.
