Development of cooperation with the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (P. PORTO)
On June 3, representatives of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic met with colleagues from the School of Management and Technologies of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ESTG P. PORTO) – the president of ESTG, Professor Luis Lima, and the vice-president of ESTG, head of the department of internationalization and research cooperation, Professor Marisa Ferreira.
Leaded by rector Viktor Hreshta, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic was represented by the head of the Center for Internationalization and International Cooperation Alina Kazurova, head of the Department of Project Activities Maria Pavlenko and director of Children and Youth Scientific University “Zaporizhia Polytechnic” Olena Nazarova.
Rector Victor Greshta and president Luis Lima gave a welcome speech. During the speeches, the importance of expanding educational and scientific cooperation was emphasized.
Participants presented their educational institutions and their main areas of activity. They discussed potential partnerships: joint scientific projects, academic mobility, in particular in the fields of management and business, law, logistics and transport, cyber security, information technology, industrial engineering. They agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation and hold a series of further meetings in specific directions.
Zaporizhia Polytechnic already successfully cooperates with the School of Engineering (ISEP). We are sure that building new ties with the School of Management and Technology (ESTG) will strengthen our friendship with the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.
