A career orientation event for school students by a student of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University
On May 9, the meeting “Honestly about studies and how not to burn out before admission” was held for students of Zaporizhzhia specialized school #100. The event was conducted by Maria Vorozhko, a student of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, majoring in Psychology. The meeting was devoted to the support of school graduates during the period of taking exams and the entrance campaign.
Maria provided young people with practical tools for self-reflection and emotional relief. The main goal of the student’s thematic block was to teach future applicants simple methods of psychological self-help to maintain their emotional state.
She also shared her own admission experience and past experiences, which contributed to a friendly atmosphere at the meeting. High school students received answers to their questions, as well as useful tips for admission. During the meeting, the level of anxiety of the graduates due to admission decreased, it was replaced by motivation to confidently and boldly move towards their goal.
Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychology Kateryna Pylypenko helped the student prepare for the event.
We thank the organizers and look forward to future events!
