Representatives of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic took part in the Program of Professional Development of Academic Managers

The Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic National University team took an active part in the fourth module of the Professional Development Program for Academic Managers. The stage was devoted to topical issues of resource diversification and ensuring the financial sustainability of higher education institutions.

Within the module, the participants worked out key aspects of the topic:
— financial autonomy of universities
— development of project activities
— commercialization of scientific research results
— digitalization and its impact on modern financial models of higher education institutions

Special attention was paid to the European experience: the best practices of leading European universities in the field of financial strategizing and implementation of sustainable development models were considered.

The program of the module was extremely rich, because each session was accompanied by practical tasks, the implementation of which allowed the participants to form a concrete plan of action and outline strategic approaches to ensure the sustainable development of the university.

The program of professional development of academic managers is implemented at the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine within the framework of the project “Improving higher education in Ukraine for the sake of results”, which is implemented with the support of the World Bank and the British Council.
