Representatives of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic at the working meeting of the All-Ukrainian mental health program
On June 26, representatives of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University took part in a working visit to Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University, which they visited at the invitation of the Mental Health Coordination Center of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The visit took place within the framework of the implementation of the All-Ukrainian mental health program, an initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska, and was also devoted to the exchange of experience and the presentation of the achievements of higher education institutions in the field of psychosocial support.
The main speakers of the event were the head of the Mental Health Coordination Center of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oksana Zbitneva, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andriy Vitrenko and Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Nadia Zadorozhna.
Zaporizh Polytechnic was represented at the meeting by vice-rector Andriy Ivanchenko and coordinator of the psychological service Alyona Sadykina. The experience of colleagues and innovative cases interested the delegates of the Polytechnic, because we are actively implementing an effective system of psychosocial support for students and employees. This ensures constant access to quality information about mental health and guaranteed professional help from highly qualified specialists.
Program “How are you?” is implemented in universities and inspires further development: open conversations, insights we get after student surveys, barrier-free, correct communication, networking and tours of the Polytechnic.
