Representatives of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University took part in the EURASHE annual conference

The delegation of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University attended the 34th General Assembly and Annual Conference of EURASHE held in Portugal. The university was represented by vice-rector Valery Naumyk and chairman of the academic council Volodymyr Bakhrushin.

On the eve of the planned events, the delegates visited the University of Lisbon – the largest institution of higher education in Portugal, where they held a meeting with the vice-chancellor João Alfredo dos Reis Peixoto. During the conversation, directions of possible cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres were outlined. Professor João Peixoto confirmed the consistent support of Ukraine from the Government of Portugal and the university community.

During the conference, there were also several meetings with heads of European universities regarding the establishment or deepening of partnership relations between institutions. Also, the delegates of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic informed their foreign colleagues about the situation in Zaporizhia and Ukraine due to the full-scale invasion of Russia.
