Results of the meeting of the Academic Council of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic National University on March 25, 2025
On March 25, a meeting of the Academic Council of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic National University took place.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
- approval of changes to educational and professional training programs at the Zaporizhia Humanitarian Vocational College: hotel and restaurant business; jurisprudence and office administration; tourism; physical education; finance, banking, insurance and stock market; computer engineering; automation and computer-integrated technologies; electronics; telecommunications and radio engineering; cyber security and information protection, as well as approval of the concept of “Cyber Security”.
- rules of admission to Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University
- nomination of candidates to receive named scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists-doctors of sciences for 2026
- nomination of applicants for scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists
- recommendations for publication of scientific and educational publications
- approval of the regulations on the educational and scientific center Zaporizhzhia Regional Center of Polytechnic Education and the educational center “Education for Business and Career”
- rules for admission to the VSP NU Zaporizhia Polytechnic: Berdyansk Mechanical Engineering College, Zaporizhia Humanities College, Zaporizhia Electrical Engineering College, Zaporizhia College of Computer Technologies, Tokmak Mechanical College
- amendments to the rules for awarding social scholarships
- approval of the composition of the Council of Employers and Entrepreneurs
- formation of one-time SVR for acceptance for consideration and defense of the dissertation
- supporting proposals regarding the selection of candidates by corresponding members and academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
- Regulations on the energy management system
- amendments to the Regulation on the procedure for the certification of graduates in specialty 227 “Physical therapy, occupational therapy” bachelor
Rector Viktor Greshta presented the results of his visit to the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, where the areas of cooperation with the Zaporizhia Polytechnic were finalized. Among them are the development of the European Digital Innovation Hub, the implementation of robotics solutions in production and the social sphere, the exchange of experience in the fields of renewable energy, materials science, automation and IT. This partnership opens opportunities for joint research, modernization of educational programs and improvement of competitiveness of graduates, and will also contribute to the development of the region through the integration of innovative technologies and retention of human potential.
