Victories of athletes from Zaporizhia Polytechnic University

Denys Belyaev (UFKS-115m) and Maksym Tishchenko (UFKS-415sp) took part in the Ukrainian Academic Rowing Championship among youth under 23 years old.
VM8+ (eight with stern) — 1st place (Denis Belyaev and Maksym Tishchenko)
VM2- (double sculls without stern) — 2nd place (Maxim) Tishchenko)
VM4x (doubles four) — 1st place (Maksim Tishchenko)
Maksim Tishchenko managed to win three medals of different types at once, and together with Denys Belyaev to climb to the highest step of the podium as part of the eight!

In the fight for medals of the Ukrainian Beach Volleyball Championship of the 2024/2025 season, the country’s strongest couples met. In intense and bright matches, the European champion, student of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University (UFKS-124m), MSUMK Tetyana Lazarenko in a duet with her new young partner Sofya Kournikova won silver awards of the Championship of Ukraine!

The national team of NU “Zaporizh Polytechnic” took part in the 3×3 streetball tournament organized by the Youth Organization of the “Zaporizhstal” combine. The competition was held on the sports fields of the base of the “Zaporizhstal” preventive medicine center in Khortytsia. The teams of industrial enterprises and educational institutions of Zaporizhzhia took part in the tournament.
Our athletes showed real skill, the will to win and in the final became the champions of the tournament! The representative of the team from the university was Yuriy Zhuravlev, associate professor of the Department of Physical Culture of Olympic and Non-Olympic sports, who accompanied our students and supported them during the competition.
