Memorandum of Cooperation with the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service
On September 30, Viktor Greshta, the Rector of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service. The department was represented by Andriy Adamchuk, head of the department of inspection activities in the Zaporizhia region of the South-Eastern interregional department of the State Labor Service, and Oleksandra Novoselova, head of the department for ensuring the activity of the department of inspection activities in the Zaporizhia region of the South-Eastern interregional department of the State Labor Service.
The activities of the South-Eastern interregional administration of the State Labor Service are related to areas researched by Polytechnic scientists and of interest to our students who are preparing to build a safe career:
– market supervision
– labor safety
– labor relations
– occupational hygiene and certification of workplaces
– psychosocial support
In the spring, representatives of the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service already held an introductory webinar for our students, where they talked about the specifics of employment and the registration of labor relations, the Labor Code of Ukraine, the process of dismissal from work, important working conditions, the dangers of labor slavery and human trafficking.
