Round table on attracting business to the European program "Horizon Europe"
In June, a meeting of representatives of the scientific community and business took place regarding the expansion of Ukraine’s participation in the European research program “Horizon Europe”, which took place on the basis of the National University “Zaporizka Polytechnic”.
Scientists and businessmen gathered at the round table: head of NCP “Research Infrastructures” Dmytro Pavlenko, professor of the department of economics and customs affairs, director of the Zaporizhia cluster “Engineering – Automation – Mechanical Engineering” Andriy Karpenko, vice-rector of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University Ruslan Kulikovsky, vice-president of the Zaporizhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Andriy Kuts, as well as head of the Ukrainian Federation of the Security Industry and member of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Business Council Anatoly Dolynny.
The main topic of the meeting was the creation of effective cooperation mechanisms between Ukrainian business and the National Contact Point. After all, the formation of high-quality applications remains a difficult task for Ukrainian participants, despite the large number of open competitions within the framework of the “Horizon Europe” program.
Separately, the participants of the event discussed the preparation of a round table in Zaporizhzhia, dedicated to the role of innovations in strengthening national security and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. Anatoliy Dolynyny shared the experience of a similar round table held earlier in Dnipro. The event “Innovative ecosystem as a driver of national security, post-war recovery and sustainable development of Ukraine” brought together representatives of regions, universities, enterprises and technological clusters.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation and implementation of joint initiatives. We will inform you about future events as soon as possible.
We work together — we develop together.
