Round table "Development of the network of Energy-Innovation Hubs for the recovery of Ukraine: results of activity during the six months and planning of further work"
July 3 in Kyiv on the basis of KPI named after Igor Sikorskyi held a round table “Development of the network of Energy-Innovation Hubs for the recovery of Ukraine: results of activity during six months and planning for further work”.
Zaporizhia Polytechnic University was represented at the meeting by vice-rector Andriy Ivanchenko and the head of EnInHab of NU “Zaporizhia Polytechnic University” Iryna Nazarenko.
During the round table, the following were discussed:
— development methods of the Energy Innovation Hubs network
— search for new areas of activity
— cooperation with various stakeholders
— potential for cooperation with territorial communities—interim results of regional round tables, feedback, next steps
— work plans of the EnInHubs network for the next year
Participants expanded their contact base to ensure more effective interaction between hubs and, no less important, with target audiences. The results of the activities of the Energy Innovation Hubs during the first half of 2025 were summed up and an action plan for the next year was formed.
The program of the event included a visit to the Energy-Innovation Hub of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky is a space where bold ideas are transformed into real projects. Modern equipment, innovative technologies and a creative team: we are ready to adapt the experience to Zaporizhia realities!
The organizers of the event were Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) (GmbH) and experts of the project “Promotion of energy efficiency and implementation of the EU Directive on energy efficiency in Ukraine”.
The round table is organized with the support of the international technical assistance project “Promotion of energy efficiency and implementation of the EU Directive on energy efficiency in Ukraine”, which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation and is co-financed by the Swiss government.
