Unity of generations. 125 years together!
On October 11, 2025, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University was filled with a special atmosphere – memories, sincere emotions, warmth of communication and the spirit of generational unity.
The event was solemnly opened by the rector of the university Viktor Greshta, who congratulated all those present on the holiday and emphasized the importance of maintaining the connection between generations of graduates.
Congratulatory remarks were also made by:
– Vladyslav Ihorovych Kutsenko, Deputy Chairman of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Council
– Yevgeny Sotnikov, First Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the University
Alumni meeting “Unity of generations. 125 years together” became a real holiday! There was everything – laughter, tears of joy, and a trip through the familiar corridors of the university. Some have returned here for the first time in many years, and some have recently completed their studies. However, everyone was united by one thing — love for their alma mater.
This meeting brought everyone back to their student years: those present remembered their first lectures, favorite teachers, friends who became a real family.
They spoke with special gratitude about those who are currently protecting Ukraine, giving us the opportunity to live, study and meet again.
During the event, the guests were presented with commemorative gifts from SE “Ivchenko-Progress” – a partner of the university and a constant friend of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic.
Thank you to everyone who participated – both those who were nearby in the hall and those who joined online. Your smiles, warm words on the “wall of memories” and donations in support of our defenders are the best confirmation that the spirit of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic lives in each of us!
May the common history continue for many more years – in new generations of students, in the works and achievements of our graduates!
125 years is just the beginning of a great story that we are creating together!
