Zaporizhia Polytechnic once again loudly announced itself at the large-scale forum of student leaders in Kharkiv!
Day 1: the forum began with fiery speeches by representatives of the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after Hryhoriy Skovoroda and leaders of the city of Kharkiv, who emphasized that students are the driving force of change! A special moment is the students’ discussion with the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykhailo Vynnytskyi. He asked questions about motivation, education and the future, and we answered confidently, because we know where we are going! After the official part, the students presented their universities: they talked about the opportunities, achievements and prospects of educational institutions.
Day 2: continuation of university presentations, discussion of the future of education and options for solving the challenges faced by the field. The head of the student self-government of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic Sofya Stepanenko spoke at the section on the modernization of higher education, and representatives of the Polytechnic actively participated in the panel discussion! Then there is another important topic: “Education and patriotism”, because the education of a conscious citizen is very important today.
Day 3: powerful training from the Ukrainian Association of Students. We developed advocacy campaigns on the topic “Rights and interests of education seekers” and everyone showed themselves 100%! Next is a section on the effective work of student self-government and a final panel discussion.
Ms. Sofia handed over branded merchandise of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic to the acting head of the student parliament of KhNPU named after H.S. Frying pans to Daniel Mahmudov, and he, for his part, awarded the participants with certificates!
