Experimental project on providing state aid for education to children of certain categories of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine
The implementation mechanism of this project is determined by the Procedure approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 14.03.2025 No. 318: https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/318-2025-%D0%BF#top
Targeted assistance is provided in the 2024/25 or 2025/26 academic year to students of professional pre-university and higher education — citizens of Ukraine who are studying full-time (full-time) and part-time at the expense of individuals (i.e. under a contract), regardless of the level of education they previously received, who were under 23 years old at the time of confirmation of their consent to participate and who belong to the following categories of persons:
? children who have the status of a family member of the deceased (deceased) Defender of Ukraine in accordance with the first part of Article 10-1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection”
? children of persons with disabilities as a result of the war, defined by clauses 11-16 of the second part of article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection”
? children of participants in hostilities defined by clauses 19–25 of part one of article 6 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection”
? children of persons who have the status of a war veteran and are considered missing under special circumstances in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Status of Persons Missing under Special Circumstances”
? children of persons who have the status of a war veteran and in respect of whom the fact of deprivation of personal freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine has been established in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On social and legal protection of persons in respect of whom the fact of deprivation of personal freedom has been established as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine, and their family members”
? children of persons with disabilities as a result of the war, defined by paragraph 10 of the second part of article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection”
? children of persons recognized as injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection”
The state aid fully covers the cost of education established by the educational institution — a participant of the experimental project for the academic year in which the student, a participant of the experimental project, receives state aid.
How to get state aid?
- Students of education who are eligible for state aid must fill out the form at the link: https://forms.gle/2U91Py7p24iWYjCj6
- Apply to the trade union committee of university students to provide documents confirming the relevant status.
- After receiving the certificate in Action, confirm it within 20 days.
