On August 22, on the Day of the State Flag and the Independence Day of Ukraine, the patriotic action "Palms of Peace" was held at the Zaporizhia Polytechnic
Students, teachers and employees of the university created a bright installation of palms in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. This canvas became the personification of unity, joint responsibility and everyone’s desire to preserve the peace and independence of our country.

The event was held on the initiative of the students’ trade union committee and the university’s student self-government.
