Alumni Impact Forum 2026
On May 1, the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv hosted the Alumni Impact Forum 2026, which brought together representatives of universities from all over Ukraine around an important topic – the role of alumni communities in strengthening the resilience of educational institutions and society in times of war.
Representatives of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” took an active part in professional dialogue and team interaction. The event was attended by the head of the Center for Employment Assistance for Students and Alumni Svitlana Karpenko, acting. Head of the Educational Department Sofia Stepanenko and Head of Student Government Anastasia Steshenko.
The participants focused on the role of communities in the development of universities, their ability to ensure sustainability in modern conditions, and also received effective tools for effective interaction with students and graduates. A feature of the format is interactive work: instead of the usual lectures, there is teamwork, where everyone contributes to the creation of a common practical product.
Solutions were developed in key areas: interaction with students during their studies, the formation of a systemic ecosystem of connections, the development of international partnerships, and the strengthening of the role of graduates in crisis situations.
The result of the work is a ready-made guide – a practical tool for the development of university communities. The experience gained will become the basis for implementing new approaches and strengthening relationships between the university and its graduates.
Alumni communities are unity, support, and a force that helps move forward. Together for the development of universities and the future of Ukraine!
