About the department
The uniqueness of the "Philosophy" department is in the specific content of the educational components taught at the department: modern philosophical discourse on human history and the present, which today is "served" by humanity according to the rules and techniques of communicative philosophy (not ontological or epistemological of previous eras).
The department contributes to the formation of students of higher education in a philosophical culture of thinking and a worldview that will ensure the country's development - the ability to deal with scientific, technical, technological, social, mental and other phenomena of Ukrainian society.
The department's mission is to effectively assist in the preparation of a person who is competitive in the modern world of complex socio-cultural realities, a conscious citizen of Ukraine, who is a competent subject of social activity and asserts and develops his own national identity.
